I haven’t been able to get Samiyah Yellardy's case out of my mind. It’s beyond distressing to think about what her family must be going through, especially after the purple bench they placed as a tribute was stolen. It feels like a slap in the face to her loved ones, who are already dealing with so much pain. I can’t understand why someone would take something so meaningful and symbolic of Samiyah’s vibrant life from a grieving family and community. It's devastating, and I can only hope that whoever took it might be moved by some sense of decency to return it. It’s also disheartening that there have been no significant updates in the investigation. Samiyah deserves justice, and her family deserves closure. If anyone knows anything, no matter how trivial it might seem, please reach out to the authorities. Samiyah's family and friends are in my thoughts, especially her mom, who’s shown incredible strength and resilience despite everything. Let’s help keep Samiyah’s name out there so her case doesn’t fade into the background.
