I’ve been following Carrie Lynn Szaksz's case closely and can't help but feel for Alex, Diane's son. Losing both a mother and sister so suddenly and violently is unimaginable. From what I've read, Carrie was the kind of person who’d light up a room with her creativity and warmth, and her bond with her family was truly special. It's heartbreaking to think about how this young man is dealing with such a profound loss. The GoFundMe campaign is a small beacon for him in such a dark time, ensuring he has some semblance of support moving forward. Does anyone know about any community events or memorials planned to honor their memory? It’d be nice to find ways to offer support beyond just donations.

Does anyone else find Carrie’s love for animals so incredibly touching? It's one of those details that really hits hard. She dedicated her life to caring for others, both in her career as a nurse and through her passion for animals. I can't even begin to imagine the pain her loved ones are going through, knowing how much she meant to so many lives. I think it’s beautiful that such a kind-hearted person left a lasting impact on both humans and animals alike. My thoughts go out to Alex—losing both his mother and sister in that senseless act of violence. It’s comforting to see how the community has rallied around him, and I hope that support continues to grow. Anyone else inspired to do something in Carrie's memory? Maybe volunteering at a local animal shelter or donating in her name? I feel like it would be a lovely way to honor her legacy.
