I just caught up with the case of Octavius Z. Cooke, and my heart goes out to his family and friends. I can't even begin to imagine what they're going through. One aspect that really stands out to me is the location of the incident. It seems like the 1900 block of 10th Street NW might be a spot where trouble brews more often than not. Does anyone else think that certain areas in cities become hotspots for crime? I wonder if there were any previous reports of altercations or suspicious activities around there. If the community starts keeping an eye out, maybe it could prevent something like this from happening again. For Octavius's sake, and for everyone in that neighborhood, I hope there's some form of resolution soon. Sending strength and love to everyone affected.
