Has anyone else been thinking about the role that eyewitnesses play in cases like this? I can't imagine how traumatizing it must be for those who heard the shots and then saw the aftermath. It's crucial that they come forward to share what they witnessed, but I hope they have the support they need during this time too. Considering how quickly the police identified Lemus as the suspect, their accounts must have been really valuable. It’s just so sad to think about Darlin’s family coping with this loss, while strangers become pivotal in seeking justice. Sending strength to everyone involved.
