I'm really struck by the ripple effect this tragedy has had on the community. JC seemed like a wonderful guy who touched so many lives, and it's clear he was devoted to his family. I can't help but think about his daughters and how this will affect them as they grow up without their father. It's hard to wrap my head around the fact that a holiday gathering, which should be about celebration and gratitude, ended in such a loss. I hope his family finds some comfort in the outpouring of support from those who knew him and even those who didn't. It’s just such a senseless tragedy, and I keep wondering how something like this could have been avoided.
