Has anyone else looked into the background of the Prohibition Unit where James McGuiness worked? I'm wondering if there were internal tensions or issues that might have contributed to his tragic death. It must have been such a dangerous and uncertain time for those agents—trying to uphold a law that so many were willing to break at any cost. I can't imagine the stress and fear McGuiness faced daily, knowing he was a target for those involved in the illegal alcohol trade. It's so sad to think about his family, especially during the holidays when he was taken from them. If anyone has more information about the dynamics within the Prohibition Unit back then, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
