Has anyone else found it intriguing that Vincent Stack's remains were found so far from Niagara Falls? It's quite a journey from the falls to where they eventually washed up in Lake Ontario. Given the distance and the time it took for the remains to be identified, it raises so many questions about the currents in the Great Lakes and how bodies travel through such waterways. I wonder if there have been other cases where remains showed up miles away from the presumed point of entry into the water. This case is a sad reminder of the power of nature and how unpredictable it can be. I hope that with the closure the family has received, they can find some peace after so many years of not knowing.
Has anyone else been following the Vincent Stack case? It’s wild to think how advances in DNA technology have changed how we solve cases like his. Imagine, two years after his disappearance, those remains sat unidentified for decades, and it took until 2024 to finally get some answers. I can’t help but wonder if there are more unidentified remains out there waiting for similar breakthroughs. It must be a bittersweet moment for his family to finally know what happened after all these years, but still no clarity on how it all went down. Anyone got thoughts on how these advancements might help other cold cases?
Has anyone else been following the Vincent Stack case? It's been decades, and I find it so intriguing how modern DNA technology finally brought some answers. It's kind of mind-blowing to think that the remains found back in 1992 could finally be identified after so many years. What stood out to me is the journey of his remains—over 130 miles through some intense waters and finally ending up on the shores of Lake Ontario. Makes you wonder about the strength and unpredictability of nature. While it’s clear they found his remains, the whole situation still feels tragic and mysterious because we don’t really know what led to the tragedy. Just thinking out loud, but it feels bittersweet knowing his family finally has answers, but the "how" and "why" are still out there. Would love to hear others' thoughts on what might have happened that day in 1990.
