I was reading about the tragic murder of Major Benjamin "The Maj" Coxson, and I can't stop thinking about how this case remains unsolved to this day. Something that stood out to me is the role his reputation played in the aftermath of his death. Coxson was known not just in the underworld but also as a civil rights activist, which adds a complex layer to the way he was perceived both in life and in murder. It's fascinating yet tragic how someone could be deeply involved in such contrasting worlds. His connection with high-profile figures and his activism could have made people see him in a positive light, overshadowing the dangerous criminal networks he was a part of. It's almost surreal to think how such a public figure could be involved in such dark dealings. I'm also thinking about his family and friends who might have seen him as more than his criminal ties. For them, he was possibly a charismatic and ambitious man with a heart for social justice. It's troubling to imagine how they must feel, knowing he died such a violent death, and even more so that justice has yet to be served. What do you all think? Does this dual life of Major Coxson make it more difficult to dig into his murder, or is it possibly the very key to uncovering the truth?
