I just stumbled across Jarid Anthony Smith's case, and I can't get over how much of a disservice is being done without any clear answers or updates. It’s gut-wrenching to think that a community could lose a young life so unexpectedly and still not have any public closure or justice. We owe it to Jarid and his family to keep asking questions. Does anyone have any info on efforts within the Newark community to keep his memory alive or to push for more investigation into what really happened? I feel like community awareness and advocacy can be so powerful in these cases. Sending strength and support to all who knew and loved him.
