As I read more about her, I found it touching that her family wanted donations to go to a local animal shelter in her memory. It speaks volumes about who she was as a person—someone who clearly had a big heart for animals. In these tragic times, it's moments like these that remind us of the light that people bring into the world despite the darkness of the situation. I hope the community continues to support each other and remembers Cristina and Bryan for the bright souls they were.
