I’ve been following Bronique McCleod’s case and was particularly struck by the details of the trial, especially how Virgil Suggs was identified by the Giants jersey. It’s chilling to think that something so seemingly trivial, like a sports jersey, played a pivotal role in confirming his presence at the scene. My heart goes out to Bronique's family and those kids of hers—losing a parent in such a violent way is just unimaginable. I'm relieved that justice was served in the end, but it doesn't bring Bronique back or make the loss any easier for her loved ones. It’s another stark reminder of the urgency to tackle gun violence and support communities struggling with its impacts. What do you guys think could be done at a community level to help prevent these tragedies?
