I’ve been following Lisa Armstrong’s case and what stands out to me is the connection between Lisa and Lorain Hawkins. It’s shocking to think that someone who was supposed to be a support figure, like a Narcotics Anonymous sponsor, could be involved in something so horrific. It makes me wonder how well we really know the people we trust in our lives. I can’t imagine how difficult it must be for Lisa’s family, not only dealing with their loss but also grappling with the betrayal from someone Lisa might have considered a safe person. It’s a stark reminder of the hidden facets people might have. This community has felt such a loss with Lisa’s passing, and my heart goes out to everyone mourning her. She was taken far too soon.
