Does anyone else find it really unsettling that George Smith’s case was initially overlooked as a potential homicide? It’s baffling to think how many cases might get brushed aside or not looked into thoroughly enough from the start. I can’t imagine the stress his family went through during those early stages, not knowing if they'd ever get answers. It’s commendable how they stayed so engaged with the process, even attending every single court hearing. That kind of dedication is often crucial in ensuring justice is served and others don’t lose hope. Just makes me think about all the times things we've seen when evidence surfaces way down the line. Sending lots of strength and love to the Smith family and anyone who's walking this difficult road.
