I recently came across Leona Rodriguez's case, and something really puzzles me. I read that she was last seen in her neighborhood on August 15, 1991, but I've always wondered if there were any street cameras or security footage in the area at that time. I know it was the early '90s, so the technology might not have been as widespread, but in a city like New York, I can't help but think there must have been something that could've been reviewed. Did anyone ever check for any kind of surveillance footage or speak to local businesses nearby? It seems odd that there wouldn't be more eyewitness accounts or video evidence, especially in such a busy place. It's incredibly frustrating to think about how differently things might have played out if this happened today with all the digital resources at our disposal.
