It’s so disheartening to see another case like this remain unsolved for so long. I can’t even imagine what Jiahad Chapman's family is going through after all these years without answers. I’ve been thinking a lot about the role the community plays in these tragic events. We often discuss the failure of law enforcement in solving crimes like Jiahad’s, but what about community responsibility? Did anyone see anything that night around Bond and East Sixth streets? Someone must hold a key piece of information that could finally bring justice for Jiahad. If you were in the area back in October 2014, please think back and reach out, even if it seems insignificant. Let's keep his memory alive and give his family the peace they desperately need.
