Has anyone else been following the chilling details surrounding the Harriman case? I've been thinking a lot about how Nadia's friend from school described her as the brightest, happiest little girl with the most infectious laugh. It's so incredibly hard to comprehend that someone so full of life could have been lost in such a devastating way. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain her classmates are going through right now. Losing a classmate, especially in such tragic circumstances, can be profoundly impactful. I hope they're receiving all the support and counseling they need. When tragedies like this happen, it’s often easy to overlook the children’s community, but their grief is so real and deep. If anything, this is a stark reminder of the importance of mental health discussions with kids, even more so when they experience loss. Peace and healing to everyone affected. ?
