I keep thinking about the weather conditions that night. Does anyone know how rough the seas were when the Nagan capsized? I mean, I've heard stories about how unpredictable the waters can be around the Copper River Flats, and I'm wondering if that played a role. It's just haunting to think about what might have happened out there. If the weather was as bad as I suspect, it must have been terrifying. Also curious if there were any distress signals sent out that could give more clues about those final moments. Thoughts or additional information would be appreciated.
