Does anyone else think that the legal proceedings around Brandon Spearman being waived to adult court highlight a bigger issue in the justice system? On one hand, it's so important for Tyimer's family to get justice, but I can't stop thinking about how deeply rooted the problem of youth violence is in areas like Camden. How do we tackle this complex situation where kids are pushed into these violent paths and then face such severe consequences? I feel deeply for Tyimer's family; they've been through so much. His future and so many others get lost to this cycle of violence, and it's just so overwhelming. It makes me wonder what changes are needed at a community level to prevent these tragedies in the first place. My thoughts are with everyone affected by this senseless loss.
