I came across Armoni's story and can't stop thinking about what a bright future he had ahead of him. Standing at 6 feet 7 inches and excelling in basketball at such a young age is truly impressive. It aches to know that someone with so much talent and potential was taken away so senselessly because of the ongoing gang violence in Paterson. It's devastating when innocent lives are caught in the crossfire, especially when they have nothing to do with the conflicts causing such chaos. The community really needs support and resources to curb this violence so that no more families have to endure this kind of pain. My heart goes out to Armoni's loved ones and the entire Paterson community. Let's hope for a future where kids can walk home safely and focus on their dreams rather than being plagued by the dangers around them.

I was just thinking about the impact Armoni's passing must have had on his school and teammates. Being such a talented player and standing out at Paterson Charter for Science and Technology, I can only imagine how hard it must be for his friends to return to the court without him. The sense of loss must go far beyond games or practice - having someone like Armoni around probably brought energy and optimism. Does anyone know how the school or basketball team has honored his memory? It would be nice to hear about any community efforts or memorials that remind folks of the bright future he had and the change needed in the area. Thoughts and prayers are with his family in these tough times. ?
