Hi everyone, I’m really curious about the weather conditions on the day Erwin went missing between Pennock Island and Ketchikan. Does anyone know if there were reports of strong currents or unexpected wind changes at that time? I read somewhere that the water around there can get pretty rough, and I wonder if that might have played a role in the inflatable accident. If anyone has insights on typical conditions in that area or experiences similar challenges, it might help shed some light on the situation. Thanks in advance for any info!

Does anyone have more information on the weather conditions on the day Erwin went missing between Pennock Island and Ketchikan? I’m curious if it was calm or if there were any unexpected changes. It's such a remote and unpredictable area, and I wonder if that played a role in what happened. I've read how quickly conditions can change out there, but I haven’t found specifics for the day of the incident. It might help us understand how this tragic accident unfolded. Any locals or anyone familiar with that region who can shed some light on this?
