I can't stop thinking about how the community reacted after Mazo F. Jones was killed. From what I’ve read, people in the area were really shaken and have been trying to support each other ever since. It’s understandable given how shocking and close to home this crime happened. Mazo was just going about his evening when this terrible violence took place. The neighborhood seems tight-knit, and I can only imagine how such an event would unnerve everyone. I’ve seen similar cases in other communities, and the impact is usually long-lasting, especially if justice is not swiftly served. It's important for those who might know anything, even if it seems insignificant, to come forward. Every detail can make a difference. Hoping the family finds the answers they deserve soon. Anyone else here from East Orange who can share how things have been locally since this happened?
