I just read about the tragic case of Hassan Chatmon, and one thing that's been weighing on my mind is the location of the incident—outside that busy laundromat at Central and 4th in Newark. It's deeply unsettling to think that even in such a populated area, nobody saw enough to help catch whoever did this. Did anyone here grow up near this spot or know the area well? I wonder if there were any surveillance cameras around that could've captured something useful. It's scary to think this happened in such a public place and yet it sounds like there wasn't enough evidence available. My thoughts are with Hassan's family and friends; the uncertainty and lack of answers must be excruciating for them. If anyone has insights or thoughts about why this remains unsolved, please share. This community needs to feel safe again.
