I've been following Corey's case and wanted to share some thoughts about how it reflects on the broader issue of community safety. It's so disheartening to see young lives cut short due to violence. While it's a relief to know that the person responsible for Corey's death is serving time, we can't ignore the fact that this is part of a larger problem. Camden, like many places, struggles with systemic issues that contribute to crime. It's essential for us to rally as a community, not just to seek justice after tragedies occur but to work proactively on preventing them. I really hope that Corey's tragic story serves as a catalyst for change, prompting more discussions and actions toward creating safer neighborhoods. My heart goes out to his family and friends who have to carry this loss with them. It's about time we see concrete steps taken to make sure other families don't have to endure the same pain.
