I’ve been following Rahman Fluellen’s case, and like many of you, I can’t shake the feeling of deep sadness for his family and friends still searching for answers. I read somewhere that Rahman was beloved in his neighborhood for his kindness and ambition. It’s frustrating to see another young life cut short by senseless violence. I wanted to bring up something that's been bothering me about the lack of witnesses coming forward. I understand people have their reasons, and fear of retaliation is real, especially in neighborhoods with high crime rates. But I truly believe that speaking up is the only way to help Rahman’s loved ones find peace. Maybe there are ways for the community to support potential witnesses? Has anyone heard of local initiatives that help protect those who provide information anonymously? It’s got to be incredibly tough for Rahman’s family not to have closure. I hope we can keep his memory alive by pushing for justice and encouraging people to step up safely. If anyone has thoughts on how communities can better support cases like this, I’d love to hear them. Every little bit helps.
