I've been following Tushon "Tu" Jones's case, and something that really sticks out to me is how much love he clearly gave to his family. It must be incredibly difficult for them to get through each day without him. His kids, Mahogany, Shyeem, and Al-Shon, will grow up missing a huge piece of their life. I’m baffled by the lack of information surrounding his death. We often hear about cases where investigations might hit a wall, but six years on, it's as if his story just vanished from public discussion. The community usually rallies in these situations, yet there's little to no chatter online or in news archives about any potential campaign for justice or memorial events that might have been organized. Maybe someone local to East Orange or familiar with his circle could shed some light or share thoughts about why this silence is so pronounced? It's important to keep his memory alive and ensure justice, if needed, is pursued. My thoughts are with Alicia and the kids.
