I’ve been thinking about the time of day when Marilyn Thompson was found—around 4 a.m. It makes me wonder why she was in that area at such an early hour. Was she there to meet someone? Did she have somewhere else she needed to be? It’s so sad to think about what her loved ones must be going through, searching for answers to these same questions.
Given her past, I’d imagine the investigators are looking into every possible angle, but the lack of any arrests or named suspects is frustrating. It’s a helpless feeling, knowing there’s still someone out there who took a life and hasn’t been held accountable. I hope anyone who knows something feels compelled to speak up soon. Marilyn deserves justice, and her family deserves closure.
I can't help but feel for Marilyn Thompson's friends and family who are still seeking justice. It's absolutely tragic when a life is cut short, and to know that this case is still unsolved must be incredibly frustrating and painful for those who knew and loved her. The intersection of Auburn Street and Hamilton Avenue has always been a bit of a concern in terms of safety. It's sad to see that this ongoing issue claimed another life. It really makes you think about the lasting impact on communities that struggle with crime and violence. I really hope that with continued community involvement and support, answers will come to light. Sending thoughts to everyone affected by this tragedy.
