I've been following the case of Davion Jackson and something that's been on my mind is the location of the shooting. It's quite alarming to think it happened so close to Arts High School and the Newark Health Department—places where people should feel safe. Does anyone know if there was any increased security or community outreach in these areas after the incident? It seems critical to reassure the residents and students in the neighborhood, especially given that it took place in broad daylight. I've been thinking about the role our pasts play in our lives, especially in the context of Davion Jackson's death.
