I have been following the Amber Dudley case and something has been on my mind lately. It's so upsetting to think about the poor Lyft driver who happened to be working that night. Imagine just doing your job and suddenly being in such a terrifying situation, having someone's life in your hands. I can't stop thinking about the trauma they must be dealing with after witnessing such a horrific event. I hope they are receiving the support and counseling they need. It's a stark reminder of how innocent bystanders can be caught in the crossfire of senseless crimes. My heart goes out to Amber's family and friends, who are enduring such an unimaginable loss. May they find strength in each other.
