I’ve been following the Dexter Dunston case since it first happened, and I can’t help but think about his family and friends feeling stuck with so many unanswered questions. One aspect that keeps me up at night is the timing of everything. The shooting happened so fast, and while the police were able to get there pretty quickly, it seems like those precious minutes weren’t enough to get vital evidence or catch sight of the suspect. I read somewhere that the area wasn’t well-lit, which must have made things even harder for anyone who might’ve seen something. It’s frustrating knowing that just a few more details could potentially break the case open. My heart truly goes out to Dexter's loved ones, especially having to bear the weight of not knowing who did this or why. If anyone remembers being in the area that evening or saw something they didn’t think was important at the time, now’s the moment to speak up. Following our instincts can sometimes help bring at least a semblance of peace, even if it’s years later. Let's hope someone does the right thing soon.
