I've been thinking a lot about the scene where Dennis was shot, and it's really troubling. I'm familiar with that area in Paterson, and it's usually pretty busy around 6:30 p.m. on a weekday. It's hard to believe that something like this could happen right in front of a well-known spot like the American Fried Chicken restaurant and yet there seems to be so little information coming out. I can't help but wonder if there were any witnesses who just haven't come forward yet or if there are those who might be afraid to speak up. It's a busy intersection, and surely someone must have seen or heard something. My heart goes out to Dennis's family, and I hope they find the strength they need during this time. If anyone reading this knows anything, even if it seems small, please contact the authorities. Dennis and his loved ones deserve justice and peace.
