It's been over six years since we lost Timmothy G. Royster, but it seems like just yesterday to those who knew and loved him. As we continue to seek answers, I can't help but think about the community's role in helping solve cases like his. It's frustrating that even after all this time, there seems to be little progress in identifying suspects or making arrests. One thing that comes to mind is the importance of witness cooperation. I know it can be scary and risky, but sharing even small details can make a massive difference in an investigation. It's understandable that people are often hesitant, especially when it involves gang-related violence or fear of retaliation. However, the community holds a crucial piece of the puzzle, and speaking up might bring much-needed closure to Timmothy's family and friends. If there's anyone out there with information, now's the time to come forward. The Perry Funeral Home gave Timmothy a respectful sendoff; let's work towards a legal resolution to honor his memory further. Perhaps collective action and speaking out could finally begin to turn the tide against the gun violence plaguing Newark. Thoughts and prayers continue to be with his loved ones in these trying times.
