Just thinking about the community impact of Dino Bermudez's case, it's really evident how one tragic event can ripple through so many lives. Dino was only 33 and had so much ahead of him. It's not just about solving the crime; it's about understanding how we got here in the first place. Hearing that it happened in daylight in a place where people should feel safe is chilling. I can't imagine how the people living on Myrtle Avenue must feel now. It's never easy losing a community member, especially in such a violent way. I hope justice is served and that Dino's family finds some peace. They deserve answers and closure, and so does the whole community. Sending thoughts to those affected. If anyone has more details on how the neighborhood is coping or if there are safety measures being implemented, I'd be interested to hear. It's something we should be talking about more.
