I came across an article about the shooting of Mark Ruffin Sr., and it's terribly upsetting to see his family still waiting for answers after all this time. One thing that's quite puzzling to me is how this could happen in such a large apartment complex yet seemingly go unnoticed. You'd think someone would have seen or heard something important that night. With the number of residents and the close proximity of buildings, it's hard to believe there aren't more witnesses out there who might have seen or heard something unusual. It's so important for anyone who has even the slightest piece of information to step forward. I keep thinking about how traumatic this must be for Mark's loved ones, waiting for justice and not knowing who did this or why. I hope the community continues to support the investigation and that more people will use the tip line provided by the Monmouth County Crime Stoppers. Mark's family deserves answers, and someone out there may hold the key. Let's keep this case alive in our discussions and hopefully bring some closure to those affected.
