I still can't get over the senseless loss of Kelly Wiley. I was reading that she was a vibrant young woman with a whole life ahead of her. The fact that it happened in such a familiar area—Hill and Court Streets—just adds to the shock. I used to live near there, and it's scary to think this could’ve happened to any of us walking home late at night. My heart goes out to her family and friends; this is such a cruel reminder of how life can change in an instant. I'm really hoping that someone out there will come forward with information. I notice there's still a lot of silence around the case. I wish I could understand why these things happen, and why those responsible end up getting away with it sometimes. If anyone has even the slightest detail, please reach out to the Essex County Prosecutor's Office. This is one of those times where the community needs to rally together to help solve this.
