Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Kawiiy D. Banks, and I've been struck by the lack of coverage surrounding his death. It's really concerning that such a young life can be lost without many people taking notice or without more information being available to the public. I can't imagine how devastating this must be for his family, not knowing all the details and dealing with such a significant loss in what seems like silence from authorities and media alike. Newark has definitely had its challenges with crime, and sometimes it feels like if a case doesn't immediately grab the headlines for some reason, it just fades into the background. Does anyone know if community groups in Newark are stepping up to address the smaller cases like this one? It seems so important that Kawiiy and others don't just get lost in the statistics. RIP Kawiiy. My thoughts are with everyone who knew and loved him. Hoping someone out there has more information or is working to bring some closure to his loved ones.
