Has anyone else been struck by the chilling change in Newman's story regarding the gun's malfunction? It's absolutely gut-wrenching to think about how Diquese's life was cut short by what seems to be a reckless mishandling of a firearm. I'm particularly curious about how it all played out when they first realized something was wrong with the gun. Why didn't they reach out for help or just put the gun down? So many “what-ifs” that just make the loss feel even more senseless. My heart goes out to Diquese’s family and friends, who have to live with these unanswered questions. Also, I wonder if there's more information to learn about any previous incidents involving firearms and the people involved. This pattern of neglect could be crucial to understanding the full picture. Thoughts?
