I’ve been thinking a lot about the community impact of David Perez's case. It's just devastating to see such young lives, both David's and the suspect's, being caught up in violence. I can't imagine what the families are going through, especially David's. ? What really gets me is how public safety can feel so fragile. Plainfield is a tight-knit community, and an incident like this shakes everyone. It’s reassuring, though, to see so many agencies working together to bring justice. Hopefully, this collaboration will prevent future tragedies and restore some sense of safety to the neighborhood. If anyone in Plainfield has more info or even just thoughts on how the community can heal from this, it might be worth discussing. And if you're able to, supporting initiatives aimed at reducing youth violence could make a difference in the long run. RIP David, and my heart goes out to his loved ones. Let's hope for a resolution swiftly.
