Hey everyone, I can't stop thinking about how Jehadje McMillan was caught in the middle of all this. One thing that really stands out to me is the bravery it must have taken for him to try to mediate a heated situation like that. It's so tragic that a moment of courage led to such a devastating outcome. A friend of mine lived a few blocks away from the scene, and they said it was chaos when it all went down. It's so hard to wrap my head around how quickly things turned deadly over a dice game. The gang dynamics in Asbury Park seem so intense, and it's heartbreaking how the community keeps losing young lives to this cycle of violence. It feels like there needs to be more support for people trying to break free from these affiliations. Jehadje was so young and had dreams of becoming a chef. I can't imagine the loss his family and friends are feeling right now. I hope there's some silver lining in the aftermath with more awareness and effort towards preventing such tragedies in the future. Has anyone else heard about any community initiatives since this happened? Sending thoughts to everyone impacted.
