I wonder if anyone else has considered the weather conditions on the day Blake and the others went missing? I read somewhere that the sea can be incredibly unpredictable around Unimak Island, with waves and currents that can change rapidly. Has anyone found any reports or data on what it was like that day? Maybe this information could give us some clues about what might have happened to their vessel. Anyone with local knowledge have insights on this?
Does anyone know why the Nettie H was fishing in that area during this time of year? When I checked the usual fishing routes, it seems like a weird spot to be. I was wondering if maybe they had engine trouble and drifted off course or if there's another reason they'd be out there. It just seems odd, and I'm curious if anyone familiar with that region might have some insights. Hoping for any small detail that could help piece together what might have happened to Blake and the others.
