I’ve been following the case of Anthony Anglin and something that just stands out to me is the sheer resilience of Fabian Anglin after everything he’s gone through. I can’t even begin to imagine how tough it must be to deal with the trauma of losing a brother to such senseless violence while also recovering from life-threatening injuries yourself. The whole situation with Talmadge managing to evade authorities for so long must have been agonizing for Fabian and the Anglin family. I genuinely hope that Fabian has found some support and space to heal, emotionally and physically, even as the legal process continues. This tragic event has had such a big ripple effect on all who knew Anthony, and I hope justice will ultimately bring some sense of peace to everyone affected. It’s important for us as a community to come together, remind ourselves of the value of compassion, and continue to stand by families like the Anglins during these difficult times.
