I came across a small but significant detail that’s been nagging at me since Derrick Harris's tragic case came to light. It’s about the surveillance footage from the Delsea Gardens Apartments that captured Coombs and Gross visiting Derrick’s door before the shooting. Has anyone else wondered what their initial interaction was about? It seems odd that they’d approach the door once, leave, and then return later with such deadly intent. Was there any attempt at communication or negotiation before things escalated? This detail might not change the outcome, but it makes me wonder if there was a moment where things could’ve taken a different path. My heart really goes out to Derrick’s family, especially his daughters, who are left with so many unanswered questions. It’s these small, seemingly inconsequential moments that can end up making such a difference.
