I've been following Nathan Adcock's case and it's just so upsetting to think about his family and what they must have gone through over these years. I can only imagine how difficult it was for them to wait from May 2020 until March 2023 for some form of justice. Knowing the pain they felt makes me appreciate the dedication of the police officers and investigators who worked tirelessly to identify Teddy Smith as the shooter. While nothing can truly replace Nathan or ease the sorrow of his loved ones, it’s somewhat reassuring to see the legal system working effectively in this instance. The 20-year sentence, with Smith having to serve most of it, might hopefully bring some measure of peace to Nathan’s family. I hope they continue to find strength and support from the community.

I've been following Nathan Adcock's case closely, and my heart goes out to his family and friends. Out of everything, what really stands out to me is the role surveillance footage played in identifying Teddy Smith as the shooter. It just makes me think about how far technology has come in assisting law enforcement. Juggling emotions here — while it's reassuring to see technology being used to bring justice, it also fills me with a bit of unease about the sheer amount of surveillance around us every day. Does anyone else feel conflicted about this? It’s a double-edged sword for sure. But at the end of the day, I'm grateful it led to Teddy's arrest and brought some sense of closure to Nathan’s loved ones. Wishing them continued strength as they process all of this.
