Hey everyone, I've been following Andre Reevey's case closely and something's been bugging me about Hightower’s supposed apology to the family. According to reports, Hightower claimed the shooting was accidental and even tried to apologize to Andre's family. I can't imagine the pain Andre's loved ones are going through, but I’m curious about how genuine his apology could be given the circumstances. Like, if you’re trying to clean up the scene and cover your tracks with bleach, it doesn’t really scream “accidental” to me. Do you guys think apologizing might have been a strategic move to sway public opinion or possibly soften potential sentencing? I’m interested to hear what you all think. Every time I read about another senseless loss in Camden, it just makes me wish for more peace and safety for everyone, especially for families like Andre’s who have suffered so much.
