I can’t imagine how terrifying those messages must have been for J.H. and his family. It’s almost chilling to consider how nowadays, things we often take for granted—like a simple call or text—can escalate into something so dire. I hope this serves as a reminder to all of us to stay vigilant, both in our own lives and within our communities.
