Has anyone else been following the details about Scott Colclough's tragic murder? I was reading about how his family lost not only Scott but his brother to gang violence before him. It's just so devastating to see the cyclical nature of this violence. The burden this must place on the community and victims’ loved ones is unimaginable. I hope this case prompts more discussions on how we can address gang violence in these neighborhoods. The number of families that suffer these losses is far too high. Does anyone know if there are local initiatives working to prevent gang involvement? It seems so crucial to find ways to prevent more families from experiencing such irrevocable pain. My thoughts are with the Colclough family and everyone affected by this.
