Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Anthony E. Young Jr., and something that caught my attention is the role that surveillance footage played in solving the case. It's incredible how technology can assist in piecing together such tragic events, yet it's also a sobering reminder of its necessity due to the level of violence some communities face. I can only imagine how difficult it must have been for his family and friends to cope with this loss; thinking about how someone you love is out there, possibly caught on camera in their last moments, must be incredibly painful. The use of technology here was crucial, but it also feels invasive in a way. I'm curious to hear what others think about the balance between utilizing such surveillance for safety and respecting people's privacy. My thoughts are with Anthony's loved ones during this difficult time.
