Has anyone looked into the possibility of Oral Fahrettin having connections or contacts in the NYC area? Given he might have traveled there after disappearing, it's worth considering if he had any planned meetings or friends there. I know it was back in 1994, but maybe someone might remember something or at least give us hints about why he would choose NYC. It just seems like an interesting detail that was mentioned but not really expanded upon in discussions. Curious to hear everyone's thoughts or if there's been any follow-up on this angle!

Anyone else find it intriguing that Oral Fahrettin, the Turkish Navy guy who vanished in Virginia Beach back in '94, might have headed to NYC? I mean, it's a big leap from a museum trip to possibly ending up in the hustle and bustle of New York City. I've seen some theories floating around that maybe he was meeting someone there or had ties in the area. No solid evidence, of course, but it does make you wonder. If anyone has any clues or if any old records suddenly surface that could connect him to NYC, it might be worth a deeper dive. Plus, how has there been nothing for so long? It's almost like he vanished into thin air. Thoughts?
