Has anyone else been following the case of Randal who went missing on the Upper Chilkat River? I was thinking about the logistical side of how they're conducting the search. It's a fast-moving river, and given the recent rainfall, I wonder how that affects visibility and safety for search teams. Are local search and rescue equipped to handle conditions like these, or are they bringing in specialized teams? Also, curious if they’re using drones or any tech to assist in locating him in such treacherous waters. The terrain out there is so rugged—just hoping they have all the resources they need. Anyone have insight on how these type of searches operate in challenging conditions like this?
Just Speculating—What Could Have Happened to Randal?
I've been closely following Randal's case and keep wondering about the possibility of what could have happened after the canoe accident. I know a lot of people are saying the river's current could have swept him away, but has anyone considered the weather conditions that day? Sometimes visibility can drastically change, and if it was particularly foggy or rainy, it could have complicated any chance of rescue or even survival. Also, could the canoe have hit debris in the river that caused him to lose balance? It seems like there are so many small factors that could have contributed to this tragic situation. Anyone else have insights into typical conditions on the Upper Chilkat River during this time of year? It might help us piece together more about what he was facing out there.
