Has anyone here ever looked into the possibility that John Wayne Dalton might have chosen to disappear intentionally? I know he had a close relationship with his mom, making that seem unlikely, especially since he didn't call her on her birthday like he usually did. But considering his transient lifestyle and tendency to move around a lot, it's curious to me. Maybe he just wanted a fresh start somewhere without any baggage. Has his transient lifestyle been a focus of any theories or discussions? It could explain why the trail went cold right after the reunion. I just feel like his lifestyle possibly provided him with the means to disappear if that's what he intended. Thoughts?
Has anyone looked into the public transportation angle with John Wayne Dalton’s disappearance? I know he often traveled by bus, which can be tricky for tracking movements, especially back in 1994. Has there been any investigation into the bus companies or routes he might have taken after the family reunion? Sometimes ticket records or driver logs from that period might offer some clues. It’s frustrating to think he might have just vanished without a trace when there could be leads hiding in plain sight. If anyone has experience or knowledge about how bus travel investigations were handled back then, it would be great to hear your thoughts. Maybe there's a new angle that hasn't been fully explored?
Hey everyone,
I've been digging into the John Wayne Dalton case, and one thing that's been really puzzling to me is his transient lifestyle. I understand he was known to disappear for months at a time without much contact due to his preference for off-the-grid living, but he always managed to call his mom on her birthday, right? It's like something or someone specifically prevented him from making that call after the reunion.
Has anyone ever looked into the bus routes he might have taken from Mannford around that time? I wonder if he might've crossed paths with someone—a friend or a stranger—who offered him another way to travel. Maybe it's just me, but it feels like his disappearance is more than just bad luck or getting lost in the system. Thoughts?
