I can't stop thinking about the two survivors in the car with Sadiel and Al-Tarrek that night. They must be experiencing so much trauma from witnessing such a violent act up close. Imagine being in that situation, friends one minute and then in an instant, your whole world changes. It’s a reminder of how precious life is and how quickly it can be taken away. I hope they have access to the support they need, both emotionally and psychologically, to navigate through this. Their lives will never be the same, and they deserve all the kindness and care the community can offer. Also, hats off to the authorities for acting swiftly in apprehending the suspect; it’s a step towards justice, though it will never replace the loss felt by their families. My thoughts are with everyone touched by this terrible incident.
